M/WBE Pre-Qualified List (PQL)

Citywide Armed/Unarmed Security Guards

and Related Services

The DCAS Office of Citywide Procurement (OCP), via a Request for Qualification (RFQ) process, established a list of pre-qualified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) vendors. These vendors are certified by the City of New York to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary and required, to provide security guards /unarmed security guards or related services, for various City agency buildings and facilities with an estimated cost of $1,000,000 or less.

Projects are defined as opportunities that fall within the specific categories listed below. These services are required by the City agency to provide security guard services in City facilities.

Three (3) PQLs were established and are grouped by potential service type as follows:

The PQLs corresponding with each option above will be “open.” After each PQL has been in effect for a period of twelve (12) months, DCAS will publish a PQL public notice in accordance with Section 3-10(e) of the City’s Procurement Policy Board Rules and will review and evaluate new applications for each PQL on an annual basis. DCAS will make determinations regarding new applicants’ eligibility and inclusion in the PQLs at that time.
