The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment announced that applications for the 8th Annual New York City Public School Film Festival are now open. The NYC Public School Film Festival, which honors the diversity of student voices, is presented by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) and New York City Public Schools (NYCPS).
MOME and NYCPS will present the 8th annual New York City Public School Film Festival on on March 25, 2026 at the Museum of the Moving Image. This year's festival will be bigger and better than ever, with multiple screenings, room for families, and panels on everything from high school and college admissions to pre-professional programs!
The NYC Public School Film Festival (NYCPSFF) is open to all NYC Department of Education (DOE) middle and high school students. Submission deadline is February 6, 2026.
