TAP’s "Made in NY" Animation Training Program

TAP’s "Made in NY" Animation Training Program provides hands-on supportive training in the animation pipeline to 18-24 year old New Yorkers. Trainees engage in training on industry-standard software and career readiness skill development. TAP collaborates with leaders in the field to develop rigorous, innovative and industry-aligned curricula. Co-facilitated by professional animators alongside Creative Arts Therapists, the TAP Animation Training Program offers a space for creatives to develop the skills they need for careers in animation, gaming, visual effects, and other digital arts technology industries.

Graduates of the Training Program will receive:

• Certificate of completion
• Digital badges in technical and workforce readiness skills
• Adobe software certification
• Portfolio-ready project(s)
• Networking opportunities with industry professionals
• Support toward placement in internships, employment and/or additional educational opportunities

Eligibility Requirements

• 18-24 years old
• NYC resident
• Qualify as low-income, under- or unemployed
