NYC ACCESS HRA Child Support Mobile App
The NYC ACCESS HRA Child Support Mobile App makes it easier to access child support services. Download the flyer for a brief summary, watch a short video, or scroll down for more information.
Download the app for free through the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Android) in English, Spanish, Korean, Arabic, Russian, Traditional Chinese, and French.
What is the child support mobile app?
For custodial parents
The app simplifies the child support enrollment process by asking you questions that more quickly help you complete the appropriate form.
Once submitted, the forms and any required documentation is reviewed by an Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) staff member, who will contact you to confirm your submission and talk to you about the next steps.
You can also use the app to provide OCSS your updated contact information.

Key features for custodial parents:
- Child Support Enrollment:
- The child support app enrollment form is automatically filled in when you answer the online questions. If you submit your form online, you do not need to fill out and submit a hard copy.
- If you are receiving or applying for Cash Assistance or Medicaid, you can submit your online child support enrollment form and then upload supporting documents, saving you time and money.
- You can view and download your enrollment form after submitting it

- Instead of calling, writing or walking-in you can submit updates of your address, email, phone number, and employer using the child support app.
- Upcoming Appointments
For noncustodial parents
You can now make child support payments to the government or the custodial parent directly through the app, without a fee, by using a credit card, debit card, PayPal, or Venmo. Allow 2-3 business days for payment processing.
The app also provides you access to child support enforcement challenge forms and debt reduction application forms, which can be completed and submitted via the app. Once OCSS receives the submission, you will be contacted to discuss whether you qualify and next steps.

- Child Support Payments
- Make credit, debit card, PayPal, or Venmo payments toward your child support case. Allow 2-3 business days for payment processing.
- Challenge Forms
- Complete and submit challenge forms for child support enforcement actions, including DMV License Suspension, Passport Denial, and Income Tax Refund Intercept.
- Learn more about how to challenge an enforcement action.
- Debt Reduction Application Forms
- Complete and submit an application for the Arrears Cap Program and the Arrears Credit Program to initiate the request for a reduction in the arrears owed to the Department of Social Services (DSS).

- Submit updates of you address, email, phone number, and employer without having to call, email, or visit OCSS.
Getting access
The app uses the same login information as ACCESS HRA if you already have an account, or you can also create a new account using the app if you don't already have one.
