The Commissioner's Awards for Excellence and Merit Awards

The Commissioner's Awards for Excellence recognize outstanding service by our employees, celebrate our accomplishments and inspire pride in our work.

The Merit Awards formally recognize members of the Department who aid the public or fellow employees through acts of heroism with Medals of Honor, Valor, and Distinction.

Submit a nomination today for yourself, a colleague or group of colleagues, subordinate or supervisor. Any DSNY employee is eligible to submit nominations or be nominated.
