General Information

The City of New York offers its employees and their family members a helping hand providing short-term counseling, education, information, and individualized referrals for a wide range of personal and social problems. The NYC EAP also offers various services to agency leadership such as consultations, workshops & presentations on behavioral health topics, as well as group interventions for employees.

The NYC EAP provides services to the City of New York non-uniform Mayoral agencies, NYC Department of Correction, New York City Housing Authority, Department of Education and NYC Health + Hospitals. Confidentiality laws and protectons are maintained.

Employees who are not covered by the NYC EAP can receive services from either their agency or union EAP. Since not all EAPs offer the same services, we encourage you to call your agency or union EAP for further details.
