NYC Film Green

NYC Film Green is the first government-administered sustainability program for the film and television industry in the United States. The voluntary program supports productions that adopt environmentally responsible practices and offers participating productions the opportunity to earn the Film Green Seal, which may appear in end credits.

Through NYC Film Green, the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment partners with New York City’s film and television industry on a production-by-production basis to advance best practices in sustainable production—helping to protect crew members, local communities, and the environment.

As part of the program, MOME also produces NYC Film Green Office Hours, a webinar series featuring industry leaders who are actively advancing sustainability in film and television production.
