If you get a call from an unfamiliar number and hear a recorded message that HRA is calling you because your benefits will close unless you enter your EBT number and PIN, do not provide that information. DSS/HRA/DHS will never ask you for your EBT card number, PIN or social security number.
If you received a call like this and provided your personal information, contact the EBT Customer Service Helpline as soon as possible to report your card as stolen:
