Online License Renewal Service for General Vendors

After reading the instructions below, a link will guide you
to the online license renewal application log in page.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Please DO NOT use the Online License Renewal Service if you have already filed your renewal application in person.
  • If you have any outstanding debts to the City and/or State as of May 12, 2009, you CANNOT use the Online License Renewal Service. The renewal package you received in the mail indicates if you are "Clear" (no outstanding debts) or "Not Clear" (outstanding debts). If you are "Not Clear" and try to use the online service, a message will alert you to call 311 to be transferred to DCA with a question about your existing license. To pay owed taxes or to dispute the charges, contact the City and/or State departments below. You can file your license renewal application in person at DCA's Licensing Center, located at 42 Broadway, 5th Floor, in lower Manhattan, but must bring a clearance letter from the relevant office.
Please note: You can pay ECB fines in full at DCA's Licensing Center with a certified check or money order.

You can submit full payment for all ECB fines at the Licensing Center. DCA will forward payment to ECB.
  • Submitting your renewal application online does not mean that your license is automatically renewed. Once your license is renewed, you will receive a notification from DCA to visit the Licensing Center to pick up your license. See details in Step 6.
  • General Vendor licenses expire on Wednesday, September 30, 2009. You may not operate as a General Vendor after September 30 unless you have received your new license.
  • In order to submit your renewal application online, you must have a major credit card available.
    • Veteran General Vendors will be charged a $10.00 tax clearance fee and a $1.00 non-refundable service fee.
    • All other General Vendors will be charged a $200.00 license fee, a $10.00 tax clearance fee, and a $4.20 non-refundable service fee.
ATTENTION: SPECIALIZED DISABLED VETERAN BLUE AND YELLOW LICENSE HOLDERS
    • IF YOU DO NOT RENEW YOUR GENERAL VENDOR LICENSE BY NOVEMBER 30, 2009, YOUR BLUE OR YELLOW LICENSE WILL BE VOIDED AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR PRIORITY NUMBER.
    • If you held a yellow license and at a later date you choose to reapply, you must submit new applications for both white and yellow licenses. You will lose your yellow license priority number. If your applications are approved, you will be given a new priority number for your yellow license based on the last priority number issued. You will be placed at the end of the blue waiting list upon your written request.
    • If you held a blue license and at a later date you choose to reapply, you must submit a new application for a yellow license and a written request to be placed on the blue license waiting list. You will lose your blue license waiting list number.

Please bring the DCA pick up notification letter along with photo identification, proof of address, and your existing license in order to receive your renewed license.
