Funding for Cultural Organizations

Program Funding

The Department of Cultural Affairs’ Program Services Unit is currently accepting Cultural Development Fund Applications for Fiscal 2010.

FY10 DEADLINE: MARCH 23, 2009 - CLOSED

Through the Cultural Development Fund, the Program Services Unit of the Department of Cultural Affairs currently administers grants to over 880 nonprofit arts and cultural organizations that provide cultural experiences for the City's residents and visitors.

For Fiscal 2010, organizations eligible for support will complete and submit the Cultural Development Fund Application form online.  In addition to the online form, Supplemental materials will be required by the same deadline, but these are paper submissions.  Organizations seeking Department of Cultural Affairs support in Fiscal 2010, including those that wish to be eligible for Member Item funding as part of the Fiscal 2010 budget adoption process, must submit an Application by the March 23rd deadline to be considered eligible for funding.  Only organizations awarded multi-year support for Fiscal 2009-2011 are exempt from the deadline.
