Alfred C. Cerullo III, Commissioner
Alfred C. Cerullo, III was appointed to the New York City Planning Commission in September 2004 by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. Mr. Cerullo has broad experience in public service, having worked in city government since 1986. From 1990 to 1994, as City Council representative from Staten Island, he served on the Land Use Committee and later in the 1990’s as Commissioner of the Departments of Consumer Affairs and Finance. Since 1999, as President/CEO of the Grand Central Partnership, he has focused on enhancing the areas streetscape and providing services to the business improvement districts stakeholders. Until this appointment, he was also a member of the NYC Campaign Finance Board.
Mr. Cerullo received Bachelors Degrees in English and American Studies as well as his law degree from St. John’s University and is a member of the bar in New York, New Jersey, California, and Washington, D.C.
