On May 2, 2008, the New York City Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission as lead agency, issued a Notice of Completion for a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the East Village/Lower East Side Rezoning. A public hearing on the DEIS will be announced at a later date.

Hospital for Special Surgery Expansion Draft Environmental Impact Statement

On April 4, 2008, the New York City Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission as lead agency, issued a Notice of Completion for a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Hospital for Special Surgery Expansion.  A public hearing on the DEIS will be announced at a later date.

125th Street Corridor Rezoning and Related Actions Final Environmental Impact Statement

On January 30, 2008, a public hearing was held for the proposed 125th Street Corridor Rezoning and Related Actions. Comments were accepted at the hearing and for ten days following the hearing, until February 11, 2008.

The New York City Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission as lead agency, issued a Notice of Completion for a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the proposed 125th Street Corridor Rezoning and Related Actions, on February 29, 2008.

First Avenue Properties Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement

On December 5, 2007, a public hearing was held for the proposed First Avenue Properties Rezoning. Comments were accepted at the hearing and for ten days following the hearing, until December 17, 2007.

The New York City Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission as lead agency, issued a Notice of Completion for a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (FSEIS) for the proposed First Avenue Properties Rezoning, on January 18, 2008.

Manhattanville in West Harlem Rezoning and Academic Mixed-Use Development Final Environmental Impact Statement

On November 16, 2007, the New York City Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission as lead agency, issued a Notice of Completion for a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the proposed Manhattanville in West Harlem Rezoning and Academic Mixed-Use Development.

A public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) was held on October 3, 2007.  Written comments on the DEIS were requested and were received by the Lead Agency until the 10th calendar day following the close of the public hearing.  The FEIS incorporates responses to the public comments received on the DEIS and additional analysis conducted subsequent to the completion of the DEIS.

The Jamaica Plan Final Environmental Impact Statement

On June 29, 2007, the New York City Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission as lead agency, issued a Notice of Completion for a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Jamaica Plan.

A public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) was held on May 23, 3007. Written comments on the DEIS were requested and were received by the Lead Agency until June 4, 2007. The FEIS incorporates responses to the public comments received on the DEIS and additional analysis conducted subsequent to the completion of the DEIS.
