Public Scoping Meeting on the proposed Western Rail Yard Project

A public scoping meeting was held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, 655 West 34th Street, Room 1A-03-05. The scoping meeting included both afternoon and evening sessions. The afternoon session was held between 2:00 and 5:00 PM. The evening session was held between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM to accommodate all those who registered to speak prior to 9:00PM. Written comments on the Draft Scope of Work were accepted at the meeting and were accepted by the co-lead agencies until the close of business on Tuesday, October 14, 2008.

On Friday, May 8, 2009, the Final Scope of Work for the Draft EIS was issued.

Public Scoping Meeting on the proposed Domino Sugar Rezoning

On July 31, 2007 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:45 PM, the Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission, held a public scoping meeting on the Draft Scope of Work for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to be prepared for the proposed Domino Sugar Rezoning. Comments on the Draft Scope of Work were accepted at the meeting and for ten days following the meeting.
