The Zoning Handbook, intended for the novice and professional alike, offers a practical, easy-to-understand introduction to the complexities of zoning in New York City. The first update since 1990 of a popular guide to the city’s zoning regulations, it explains the basic concepts of zoning and how to apply them. The new handbook features:
- overviews of the key provisions governing development in residential, commercial and manufacturing zoning districts;
- color illustrations, tables and summary descriptions of each zoning district;
- a map showing the locations of the city’s special purpose districts, with summary descriptions and photos of each one;
