WTC Liaison Contact Information
In July 2007, Mayor Bloomberg asked city agencies to appoint senior level executives to ensure that city employees who participated in WTC rescue and recovery operations receive the latest 9/11 health news and information. These liaisons, who work closely with the WTC Health Coordinator, are the “go-to” people for employees who have questions about how the city is addressing the health impacts of 9/11
.
The WTC Agency Liaisons listed below met for the first time in September 2007. Their responsibilities include:
- Undertaking a renewed effort to identify current and former agency personnel who participated in WTC rescue, recovery and clean-up operations
- Distributing 9/11-related information to agency employees and retirees
- Tracking relevant agency-specific information about 9/11-related health issues
- Meeting regularly with the WTC Health Coordinator to review 9/11- related health issues that span across agencies
City employees with questions about 9/11-related health issues should contact their WTC Agency Liaison. If an agency does not have a designated liaison, city employees may contact the WTC Health Coordinator.
