	DoITT works with a variety of service providers and companies to provide services to the residents of New York City.


	Doing Business with the City and DoITT Vendors interested in doing business with DoITT should complete and submit a Vendor Application Form, which can be found on the Mayor's Office of Contract Services Web site. In addition, as DoITT frequently uses New York State Office of General Services (OGS) contracts to purchase IT goods and services, vendors may wish to apply to become New York State vendors; information and applications forms can be found on the New York State OGS Web site. 	Franchises Managed by DoITT A franchise is a grant by a City agency of a right to occupy or use the inalienable property of the City to provide a public service (Charter of the City of New York § 362(b)). The Office of Franchise Administration and Planning manages business related to the following types of franchises: Cable television Local high-capacity telecommunications (also known as broadband) Mobile telecommunications Public pay telephone Open video systems
