	The Youth Board advises DYCD on the development of youth programs. As mandated by New York City Charter, the Mayor appoints up to 28 members to the Board, 14 of whom are recommended by the City Council. The board is comprised of leaders from business, academia, government, foundations, and community-based organizations, in addition to two youth representatives.
