FIRE LIEUTENANT STEPHEN HALLIDAY TO BE RELEASED FROM
NEW YORK-PRESBYTERIAN HOSPITAL WEILL CORNELL
MEDICAL CENTER BURN CENTER

On Monday January 6, 2003, 42 year-old Lieutenant Stephen Halliday of Battalion 54 will be released from New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center Burn Center and transferred to Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, New York. Lieutenant Halliday was working at Ladder 165 when he suffered serious 2nd and 3rd degree burns to over 55% of his body while operating at a second-alarm fire at 119-71 178 Place in Queens on November 7, 2002.
