PRESIDES AT GRADUATION CEREMONY FOR 77 NEW
EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS AND PARAMEDICS

First Deputy Commissioner Frank P. Cruthers will preside at a graduation ceremony tomorrow for 72 FDNY Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) and five paramedics. The newest members of EMS have successfully completed a rigorous 8½-week training program at the EMS Academy at Fort Totten, Queens, which has prepared them for the many challenges that await them in their new careers.
