FIRE COMMISSIONER SCOPPETTA DEDICATES PLAQUE IN
MEMORY OF FALLEN FDNY PARAMEDIC DEBORAH REEVE

Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta will join emergency medical technicians and paramedics at a plaque dedication ceremony tomorrow in honor of fallen FDNY Paramedic Deborah Reeve, who died of lung cancer (mesothelioma) on March 15, 2006.

A plaque in her memory will be unveiled at Station 20 in the Morris Park section of the Bronx where she had been assigned. Paramedic Reeve was appointed to the Emergency Medical Service on January 9, 1989.

Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta, Chief of Department Salvatore J. Cassano, Chief of EMS Command John J. Peruggia, as well as fellow EMS members, family members and friends
