Individuals may retain their old COF and companies can retain their company recognition until July 1, 2009.

Effective June 3, 2009, the new examination for Portable Fire Extinguishers became available for use.

Currently certified individuals will be receiving a letter to their home with specific instructions of how they are affected by the Fire Code. Companies will also be receiving information in the mail.
