Lt. Anthony Mancuso, Director of the Fire Safety Education Unit, and Firefighters Edward Long and Hisham Tawfiq from Engine 69 visited the set of Good Morning America on Dec. 23 to promote holiday fire safety and donate to the show’s winter coat drive.

Lt. Mancuso reminded the public to make sure they use Underwriters Laboratory (UL) certified lights, turn off lights when they leave the house and water Christmas trees.

“In New York we’re proud, proud, proud to have you taking care of us,” said the show’s weather anchor Sam Champion.
