Legend, Guide and Action Hero Tell Stories in the City

Spider-Man 3 prepares to shoot in midtown on May 27, 2006.

June 1, 2006
- The 'Made in NY' incentive program continues to lure stories of many stripes - from action heroes to gangsters - to the City. Productions which will be shooting over the coming months include:

I Am Legend, starring Will Smith, an apocalyptic sci-fi drama about a sole survivor of a biological warfare disaster who faces a new challenge: mutants.

American Gangster, starring Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington, a crime drama set in 1970's Harlem.

The Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alec Baldwin, a romantic comedy about a book editor whose outlook on romance is changed after she gains the attention of an older man.

Spider-Man 3, starring Topher Grace, Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire, in which the action hero returns to New York City.

An Untitled Noah Baumbach Project, starring Nicole Kidman, Jack Black and Jennifer Jason Leigh, which tells the story of two sisters who meet for a weekend getaway in the Hamptons.
