“Good” And “Devil” in Productions About Town

October 1, 2005 – “Good” and “The Devil” are among us. Robert DeNiro's CIA story The Good Shepherd, starring Matt Damon, Alec Baldwin, Angelina Jolie, Joe Pesci, Billy Crudup and John Turturro has been shooting at locations including Union Theological Seminary in Harlem, Fort Greene, Brooklyn, Belle Harbor, Queens, Carnegie Hill, Ditmas Park, Brooklyn, Bronx Community College and Greenpoint Brooklyn.

Also about town is The Devil Wears Prada, starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. The film has shot at locations including Greenwich Street, the streets of midtown, Calvin Klein, the Spring Street station subway, the Starbucks on Broadway and 54th and the New York Sun on Chambers Street.

Thanks to the “Made in NY” incentive program, New York City has lured more than $500 million in new production business since January, creating jobs for more than 6,000 New Yorkers.
