October 1, 2006- The Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting’s September bus shelter campaign promoted Little Children, “The Martha Stewart Show” and “NY 360.”
Kate Winslet, Patrick Wilson and Jennifer Connelly star in Little Children, the latest work from Oscar-nominated Writer/Director Todd Field. Based on the novel by Tom Perrotta, Little Children centers on a handful of individuals whose lives intersect on the playgrounds, town pools and streets of their small community in surprising and potentially dangerous ways. The film contains scenes shot in an industrial laundry facility in Brooklyn, in Tottenville High School and at Walker and Westerleigh Park in Staten Island, Bowne Park in Queens, and The Warwick Hotel. A number of interior scenes were shot in residential homes in Douglaston, Queens and Silvercup Studios in Long Island City, along with scenes set in a Staten Island supermarket and coffee shop. Watch for the “Made in NY” logo in the end credits.
“The Martha Stewart Show” is a live talk show hosted by the eponymous host and taped in New York City. Click here for more information.
