In October of 2006, the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and
Broadcasting created "Careers in Entertainment", a panel discussion series aimed
to educate New Yorkers about careers in the film, theatre, and television
community. Since its inception, dozens of discussions have been held
highlighting a variety of roles in the entertainment industry, with plans for
