MINY Services Guide			Guide for International Productions
This guide contains information about the "Made in NY" tax credit program, the marketing and cultural credit programs, the online photo library, the "Made in NY" PA Training Program, insurance requirements, pre-production assistance, parking privileges and much, much more!			This is a step-by-step guide for the convenience of non-U.S. based individuals and production companies wishing to shoot a film or video project in New York City.

Film Permit			Parking Privileges Fact Sheet/Drop.Add Form

A Permit provided by the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting is required for productions looking to shoot in the city's five boroughs. A $1 million insurance requirement is required to receive a permit. Permits are required if filmmakers use vehicles or equipment, or, in certain situations, assert exclusive use of City property.			Your Motion Picture/Television SHOOTING & RIGGING permits have parking privileges. To receive these privileges, a drop/add form listing your production vehicles must be submitted at the same time as your permit application.

Insurance Information			Keys to the City
Insurance is required for all productions seeking a permit from the Mayor's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting. An original certificate of insurance signed in ink by the Broker's Authorized Representative is needed along with the information contained in this document.			A set of guidelines for all film and television production in the five boroughs, the Keys to the City must be distributed to all production personnel. Failure to comply with the directives in the "Keys to the City" may result in revocation of permit.

The following documents provide information for productions and distributors about the incentives and logos offered after your film has wrapped.

Logo Release Agreement			Marketing Credit Information
Made in NY, the "Mark of Distinction," is awarded to projects where at least 75% of the overall production was made in New York City. To add the "Made in NY" Logo to the end credits of your project, you must fill out a logo release agreement, sign it, and fax it to (212) 307-6237.			For film and television productions that complete 75% of their work in New York City. Outdoor media valued at 1% of NYC production costs will be offered to participating productions for co-branded advertising related to the “Made in NY” production.
