NYC Agency and Institution Materials Request Form
Every building in New York City is required by law to recycle. This includes all City, State, and Federal government agencies, and all institutions (universities, museums, libraries, cultural centers, sanctuaries, nursing homes and other residential facilities, day care centers, etc.).
Each agency and institution must allot adequate resources to ensure compliance with the City's recycling regulations. Management, maintenance staff, employees, residents, visitors, and students all have responsibilities to make sure that materials designated for recycling are kept separate from garbage and properly placed for collection.
What to recycle:
(Schools: please use the School Request Form.)
Check with your facilities manager or custodian to find out how your building recycles.

For schools: please use the School Request Form.
Other cities: Please understand our recycling program is supported through local taxpayer dollars; we do not have sufficient funding to provide materials for other municipalities. Do not use downloaded materials in other locales without careful adaptation.
