Center for Mediation Services Leads Conflict Management Training
Center Director, Justo Sanchez, and Supervising Administrative Law Judge, Hon. Ray Kramer, developed and led a 1-day Conflict Management and Workplace Mediation training session on July 12, 2007. Participants in the session included Executive Agency Personnel Officers from a variety of city agencies. During the training class, participants explored the dynamics of workplace conflict and its impact on the City workforce with the hopes of gaining greater insight into conflict management tools helpful in managing such conflicts. The course also included a mediation segment, aimed on increasing awareness on the role of mediation in City Government, as an alternative or complimentary process, in resolving complex workplace disputes.
