Internship Program

NYC Brownfield Internship Program

Internships provide valuable experience for students that can be used to help shape their choice for fields of academic training and provide them with a competitive advantage in securing jobs in the environmental profession when their education is complete. To provide students with training and valuable employment experience in the brownfield profession, the NYC Brownfield Partnership, a voluntary association of organizations involved in brownfields in NYC, offers a student internship program. Member organizations in the NYC Brownfield Partnership generally agree to provide one or more internships to students from New York City colleges and universities with an interest in a professional career in New York City's brownfield industry. Member organizations include environmental consultants and contractors, real estate developers, environmental law firms and community-based organizations. The NYC Brownfield Partnership is not an agency of the City. The decisions of the Partnership are made by its board of directors and not by the City.

Applications for this program are now available and can be found in the Applications toolbar on the Partnership website at www.brownfieldnyc.org. If you are a college or university student interested in the brownfield industry in New York City and would like more information on this program, email the NYC Brownfield Partnership at info@brownfieldnyc.org .
