Welcome to the NYCStat Stimulus Tracker

With the NYCStat Stimulus Tracker, New Yorkers can track the City's use of federal stimulus/recovery funds provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Stimulus Tracker provides a Funding Summary, which gives an overview of all stimulus dollars allocated to date and Funding Details, which lists detailed information about projects and programs in each major category of stimulus funding.

Please note that federal guidance regarding job calculations has changed
Prior to the first federal reporting period in October 2009, the federal government issued guidance requiring all states, municipalities and other recipients of ARRA funding to calculate actual jobs created or retained using a specific methodology. In December 2009, the federal government issued new guidance revising the prescribed job calculation methodology. As a result, jobs reflected on this website as having been created or retained between 10/1/09 and 12/31/09 were calculated differently than jobs reflected as having been created or retained prior to 9/30/09, unless otherwise noted .

For more information on both the old and new job calculation methodologies, please visit the Glossary of Terms.

* Includes 10,458 City jobs retained as a result of ARRA-funded Medicaid Relief.
