Climate Week NYC Climate Week NYC
From September 21st to 25th, New York City will hold a five day program addressing the urgent need for action on climate change. In partnership with the United Nations and The Climate Group, NYC will host Climate Week NYC during which the public, organizations and private business can work together to tackle climate change, focusing on carbon emission reduction, alternative energy, LED lighting, and super grids.

The Office of Long-Term Planning & Sustainability, the New York City Department of Environmental Protection, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency are co-sponsors of the New York City Green Building Competition for professionals and students.
