Worksource1 Updates to Improve Performance at Career Centers

June 6, 2007 - On May 24, the Department of Small Business Services rolled out a new version of Worksource1, the software which supports business operations in the City's Workforce1 Career Centers.

"This new system will provide the vendors who operate our Workforce1 Career Centers with paperless records on clients for the first time, allow us to better report on and track job placements, and help us to better identify and serve the needs of our clients," said Rob Walsh, Commissioner of the Department of Small Business Services.

Last year, the agency received the City's Excellence in Technology Award for "Best Application Serving an Agency's Business Needs" for Worksource1. Click here for more information.
