New Initiatives that Further Enhance the City's Workforce

  • The New York City Workforce Investment Board is committed to promoting access to publicly available information about New York City’s workforce, labor market and economy. In response to the great demand for timely analysis of the City’s labor market and economy, the WIB has partnered with the City University of New York to develop the New York City Labor Market Information Service.  In collaboration with the WIB the NYC Labor Market Information Service will develop impartial, high quality research products designed to inform policy makers of the critical issues affecting New York City’s labor market and economy. This newly established entity will be housed within CUNY’s Center and is expected to release its first product at the end of June.
