Taxi 07 Roads Forward, a collaborative effort of the New York City TLC and the Design Trust for Public Space, is a comprehensive look at the taxi industry and the ways in which it could better serve the public over the next decade.
This document is the culmination of a creative exercise and contains recommendations that have not been endorsed by the TLC, but rather will serve as the foundation of discussions and explorations to come.
TLC holds OBD II Information Seminars On January 1, 2005, the TLC implemented a new emissions test at its Woodside Inspection Facility. The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) are requiring this new test, On Board Diagnostics II (OBD II), in order to comply with state and federal mandates for clean air. In conjunction with the DMV and the DEC, the TLC hosted two information sessions. Below you can find information on OBD II, failure criteria under the standard OBD II test, and steps that you can take to prevent an emissions test failure.
