Governor Paterson Announces Special Elections Governor David A. Paterson issued a proclamation calling Special Elections to be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, to fill vacancies in the 24th Assembly District in Queens and shall be conducted in the manner prescribed by law for elections in New York State.
“These Special Elections will ensure that all New Yorkers are represented in the New York State Assembly,” Governor Paterson said. “I urge all eligible voters to go to the polls on February 9, to select their next Assembly member.” Learn more
