Pay It Off | March 2-13, 2026

This time-limited program offered by the NYC Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) allows noncustodial parents who have child support debt permanently owed to the NYC Department of Social Services (DSS) to pay off their arrears twice as fast. 

The average debt reduction is $4,800 per case! Nearly 5,000 noncustodial parents have participated in the Pay It Off program.

Step 1: Sign and submit an Agreement

Submit the completed, signed agreement and a copy of your photo ID between March 2 – 13 by email, mail, or in person. A separate agreement is required per case to receive a credit.

Email: dcse.cseweb@dfa.state.ny.us, subject “Pay It Off”. Include your full name & Case ID (e.g., AB12345X1) or birth date.

Mail to: OCSS - Pay It Off, PO Box 830, Canal Street Station, New York, NY 10013

In Person: OCSS Customer Service Walk-In Center, 151 West Broadway, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10013 (Business Hours: Mon - Fri, 8 AM - 6 PM (except holidays and weekends))


Step 2: Make a payment(s)

  • Make a payment of $500 or more intended for Pay It Off between March 2 - 13. Payments must be received no later than March 13, 2026 to receive the credit.
  • When making your payment write “Pay It Off” and your child support case ID on payments.
  • Make payments payable to the “NYS Child Support Processing Center”.
  • OCSS will mail you a receipt.

 

Step 3: Reduce your debt even more

  • Sign up for the Arrears Credit Program (ACP) and get a bonus debt reduction of up to $2,500, if not already enrolled. With ACP, you could earn up to another $15,000 in debt reduction over 3 years. Get the application at nyc.gov/ocss-debt-reduction or scan the QR code.
  • Pay off the principal of your money judgment owed to DSS (what you owe before interest) and your interest will be removed.
