Mayor Bloomberg, City Council Speaker Quinn and National Institute of Reproductive Health President Kelli Conlin, along with San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon and Anchorage Mayor Mark Begich today launched the 2008 Urban Initiative for Reproductive Health National Summit being held on May 8 and 9 in New York.

The NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC) recently launched a Mother's Day public awareness campaign to encourage women over 40 years old to seek an annual mammogram at any HHC hospital, community health centers and mobile mammography van locations on Staten Island.

Notify NYC

Notify NYC
Notify NYC is a new service designed to enhance the delivery of emergency information to the public. During the pilot phase, the City will test different kinds of public messaging, including email, text messaging and telephone, to determine the best way to launch a Citywide program. There are currently four communities involved in the pilot.
