Don't miss this New York City tradition Thursday, November 26, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. For 83 years, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade has kicked off the holiday season with glorious bands, balloons, and floats. This year the parade will be marching a new route along 7th avenue. The parade starts at 77th Street and Central Park West, travels south to Central Park South, heads east on Central Park South, travels south on 7th Avenue (instead of Broadway), heads east on 42nd Street, travels south on 6th Avenue, then heads west on 34th Street to Herald Square where it ends at Macy's, 34th Street and 6th Avenue.
