Credit Card Logo Buildings Bulletins 2016-004: Clarifies the definition of historic structure for flood zone purposes. 2016-003: Establishes acceptance criteria for grease duct enclosure assemblies. 2016-002: Rescinds Technical Policy and Procedure Notice (TPPN) 5/99 that is no longer applicable under any code. 2016-001: Establishes acceptance criteria for threaded high-strength steel reinforcing bars as alternative materials in the NYC Construction Codes. 2015-037: Establishes qualification criteria and submittal requirements for approved pipe welder qualification agencies and the welder's employer. 2015-036: Establishes acceptance criteria for Grade 100 high-strength steel reinforcing bars. Rules Promulgated by the Department 1 RCNY 1101-01 (effective 12/30/15), re-establishes acceptable prototype bathrooms and powder rooms in alterations in buildings that were originally occupied on or before March 13, 1991 and TPPN 15/88, TPPN 22/88 & TPPN 1/92 are rescinded. 1 RCNY 103-05 Amendment (effective 12/30/15), removes language referencing high-pressure boiler inspections conducted by the Department as these responsibilities have been transferred to the owner as per 2014 NYC Construction Codes. 1 RCNY 3319-01 (effective 12/31/15), updates crane regulations to best practices and national standards and repeals Reference Standard RS 19-2. 1 RCNY 6-01, 1 RCNY 8-01, 1 RCNY 27-03, 1 RCNY 27-04, 1 RCNY 403-01 & 1 RCNY 4000-06 (effective 1/4/16), have been repealed as they are addressed by the NYC Construction Codes or NYC Electrical Code. Referenced Standards RS 19-1 & RS 19-4 have also been repealed. Did You Know?
