Updated Process For
Mandatory Inclusionary Housing
|
Properties flagged
in DOB's
Buildings Information System (BIS) Property Profile
as a Mandatory Inclusionary Housing (MIH) building can
submit a printout from the
NYC Zoning and Land Use (ZoLa) map to prove to
the Department that their property is located outside of
the MIH area. This printout will satisfy the requirement
for HPD Permit and Completion Notices for New Building
and Alteration-CO applications.
To
determine if a building is in an MIH area, you can enter
the buildings’ address on ZoLa, and select "Mandatory
Inclusionary Housing Areas" in the sidebar under
Supporting Zoning Layers.

Special Event
Construction Embargo in Manhattan
|
A Special
Event Construction Embargo will be in effect on March
13th to the 17th related to the St. Patrick's Day
Parade, affecting construction work in select areas of
Manhattan.
Effective
from 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, March 13th, through 11:59
p.m. on Thursday, March 17th, the Department of
Buildings recommends that building contractors and
construction professionals in the area should refrain
from any exterior building construction and
construction-related deliveries during this time.
Delivery and construction vehicles, such as concrete
truck deliveries, heading to the area may also be
disrupted.
More information about the embargo, including exact
locations affected can be found here. |
