Food Truck Rolls On
|
From May
2nd to May 6th, DOB is celebrating Construction Safety
Week with a five-borough construction safety food truck
tour at work sites across the City.
Each day this week, our safety-branded food truck is
handing out free food and valuable safety information to
our City's construction workers. At each stop, DOB and
OSHA safety experts are talking directly with
construction workers and contractors about best safety
practices and ways to avoid getting hurt on the job.
These work site visits are part of DOB's ongoing public
safety outreach mission.
DOB is also released a new public service announcement
video to air on television, and ads to appear in subway
cars across the City, to further boost our outreach
efforts, and spread the important message about
construction safety.
