Tropical Storm Ida: Fees Waived for Repairs

Starting today, Tuesday, September 14th, the Department of Buildings will not require applicants to pay any fees for filings and permits for repair work associated with damage caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Ida. This fee waiver is pursuant to an executive order issued by Mayor Bill de Blasio.

The emergency executive order is designed to aid in the city's recovery from Ida, and remove barriers for New Yorkers who need to make repairs to their homes and places of business.
