Happy New Year From DOB
|
2024 is officially here, and we here at DOB are hoping
everyone in the construction and development industries
has a safe and successful new year. Before the
end of 2023, we took a look back at many of the
accomplishments and new initiatives we launched with a
DOB year in review press release. Looking forward,
we are reminding property owners of their legal
requirements under the City's periodic building
inspection programs, including safety inspections for
building
facades,
parapets,
parking structures,
gas piping systems,
elevators,
boilers, and
retaining walls.
This is the second edition of DOB Pro Updates, our
new periodic newsletter sent out to industry registrants
and licensees working here in New York City. Our hope is
that this newsletter serves as a useful resource for the
industry, keeping everyone in the loop on changing
regulations, upcoming deadlines, and new local laws
Buildings News, our flagship newsletter, isn't going anywhere, and we
will continue to send out editions of that newsletter that include agency updates, announcements, and
regulatory updates as well.
Check out the latest edition sent on December 29th, 2023. Industry members who want to receive Buildings News in
their inbox can sign up for that newsletter on
this webpage here. |
