Dear fellow New Yorker:
Mayor Adams marched in the annual Israel Day Parade this past Sunday. New York City is home to the largest Jewish population in the world outside of Israel.
June is LBGTQ+ Pride Month, and the 55th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising. City Hall and other municipal buildings were lit in rainbow colors to mark the start of Pride Month, and the Pride flag, Philly Pride flag, and the Transgender flag will be flown throughout the month of June to show solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community in New York and across the country.
Lastly, Mayor Adams invited the Astoria community “Talk with Eric” at a neighborhood town hall in western Queens. We appreciate all the New Yorkers who came out to share their concerns with the Mayor, members of the administration, and city agencies.

All the best, Fred Kreizman Commissioner, Community Affairs Unit Office of the Mayor |
