Advance & Earn is a new training and employment program from DYCD's Workforce Connect for youth between the ages of 16-24. The new program model will offer a continuum of services including literacy and math instruction, HSE test preparation, work readiness training, college and career exploration, paid work experience, advanced occupational training and industry credential attainment supported by case management and wrap-around services. The Foot Locker Scholar Athletes program honors student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional academic ability and strong leadership skills in sports, in their schools, and within their communities. Citizens Committee Grants

Whether you’re organizing for tenants’ rights or laying the groundwork for a children’s arts program, neighborhood initiatives usually have one thing in common: they require funding. That’s where the Citizens Committee comes in. They offer micro-grants for your community-building projects. Roothbert Fund
|
Roothbert Fund scholarships are open to all in the United States regardless of sex, age, color, nationality or religious background. While the Fund does not emphasize any particular form of religious practice or worship, it seeks to provide support to persons motivated by spiritual values. The Fund has awarded grants to persons entering a wide range of careers. However, preference will be given to those who can satisfy high scholastic requirements and are considering careers in education. Applications are due on February 1, 2020; click here to sign up.
