Advance & Earn
DYCD’s Advance & Earn is a training and employment program for youth between the ages of 16-24. If you or someone you know is starting to think about their long-term career and education goals, this may be the program for them. Advance & Earn will offer participants access to life-changing opportunities and maybe a first step toward a degree and their dream job. Youth for Racial Justice
We are excited for #YouthforRacialJustice Public Input Session this Friday! The city government plays a significant role in ensuring all New Yorkers live in thriving, healthy, safe communities – and a legal document called the #NYCCharter determines HOW government fulfills that role.

Youth Create the city YOU Want to thrive in!
Are you a young person living in NYC? Do you have thoughts about how life is in the city? Do you want to share your experiences to help bring about policy change? The Intergenerational Change Initiative is a group of youth and adult researchers working collectively to use youth voices to bring change in NYC. Last year they launched the Youth Ask Youth Census, which got over 400 responses from young people sharing their experiences and hopes for the future in NYC. They shared this data with significant stakeholders such as the Department of Youth and Community Development, the Department of Education, and the Deputy Mayor’s office. Museum of American Finance
The Museum of American Finance offers a free personal course for 11th and 12th graders beginning in November. The program is being offered via Zoom through its education department and provides a scholarship. Dates are November 1 and 2 from 4:15 pm -5:30 pm, November 8 and 9, and there will be a virtual walking tour of Wall Street on November 18.
