VOTE FOR #ONEFILMNY!
On August 1, in partnership with The New York Times, MOME launched One Film, One New York, a new citywide campaign to get everyone in New York to turn out on one special night to watch the same film at the same time. And what's even better – New Yorkers get to pick which film they want to see! The five films in contention were all shot on the streets of NYC, reflecting our diversity and the sounds of the city.
To vote for the movie you want all New Yorkers to watch together, and to see a full list of public parks and movie theaters in all five boroughs where the winning film will be screened for free on September 13, visit NYC.gov/OneFilm.

BROADWAY IN THE BOROS RETURNS FOR SECOND SUCCESSFUL SEASON
For the Summer 2017 season of Broadway in the Boros, nearly 2,000 people came out for performances from current hit Broadway shows by actual cast members. The audiences were filled with children and families from the neighborhoods near the venue and included many people who had never seen a Broadway show before. Sprinkled in were superfans and tourists willing to travel to another borough for a chance to see their favorite actor or enjoy the rare opportunity to witness Broadway talent up close.
