Terms of Use

When a user registers with NYC.ID or authenticates1 for the first time with a federated identity provider, he or she must agree to:

  1. the NYC.ID Terms of Use (TOU).
  2. the NYC.gov Terms of Use, and
  3. the NYC.gov Privacy Policy. 

Periodically, the City of New York may update the NYC.ID TOU.

1 The user will not be prompted to accept the latest TOU when linking a social account to a NYC account that has already accepted the latest TOU.
