 Services for Pregnant and Parenting Students are administered through District 79. Special schools for Pregnant and Parenting students are no longer in operation. Services available include LYFE centers, which are child care centers which offer supportive services and child care for the children of students while they attend school. Many LYFE centers are located on-site at different high schools throughout New York City. However, a student does not have to attend a particular school in order to receive services from that LYFE program location. |
